NAKURU KNUT OFFICE LAND NOW IN GRABBER'S DIRTY HANDS

Nakuru Kanu branch office has been acquired by an individual who is alleged to have grabbed it.
According to the rather dormant political party branch trustees, the building and land housing its Njoro branch office was reportedly fenced off recently by a private developer who wants to turn it into a commercial building.
Kanu is set to lose the land located at Bondeni in the Njoro which is about 15km from Nakuru town.
Recently at Nakuru town, the party’s branch trustees led by its former chairman Wilson Leitich cried foul saying there was no decision reached to dispose it off.
Saying they planned to spearhead efforts to reclaim the land valued of over Sh2 million, the trustees asked the party’s patron former president Daniel arap Moi to intervene.
Leitich said they do not know who grabbed it but were consulting former Njoro Kanu subbranch chairman Fred Muhando to get details on what transpired to the property which hosted the Njoro area Kanu office.
As we went to press last week, a team led by former Nakuru regional Kanu youth leader William Wafula was scheduled to visit as part of efforts to rescue the ex-ruling party’s asset.
